NMFA awards an average of $500 for career advancement, $1,000 for degrees, and $1,000 to help spouses build their own businesses (including entrepreneurs, LLCs, direct sales, franchises, contractors, and other for-profit and not-for-profit ventures. Any spouse with a valid military ID is eligible to apply during our May 1-June 30 and October 1-January 15 application periods each year. Apply NOW through June 30, 2018!

WGU Military Appreciation Scholarships are valued at up to $2,000 per student. WGU has five scholarships reserved exclusively for NMFA.
Saybrook University provides graduate education that inspires transformational change in individuals, organizations, and communities, toward a just, humane, and sustainable world. Saybrook University offers $7,500 scholarships for military spouses.
At Southern New Hampshire University, registered NMFA military spouses receive a 30 percent discount toward online undergraduate degrees and a 25 percent discount for online graduate degrees.
UMUC provides eight scholarships for up to 1,500.00 each, exclusively through NMFA to spouses of active duty, reservist and/or national guard service members.
